About Maura

With a strong background in performing arts and arts education, I’ve dedicated my career to helping children of all abilities thrive through creative expression. My work has taught me the value of patience, compassion, and adaptability when supporting young performers and creating environments where they feel confident, included, and empowered.

As the Founder and Artistic Director of The Little Lights Theater Co., I have combined my passion for theater with my commitment to youth development to build a children’s theater company rooted in inclusion, creativity, and collaboration for ages 4–13. Through theater, I help children discover their voices on stage while cultivating resilience, teamwork, and self-expression that extend far beyond the rehearsal room.

My experience as a creative educator and theater leader allows me to foster spaces where every child-regardless of ability, background, or experience-feels seen, supported, and celebrated.
